Everything You Need for Fair Judging

Powerful features designed by event organizers, for event organizers. No complicated setup, just results.

Z-Score Normalization

Our statistical algorithm normalizes scores across judges, accounting for individual scoring tendencies. A tough judge and a lenient judge produce fair, comparable results.

QR Code Access

Judges scan a QR code to instantly access their assignments. No accounts to create, no passwords to remember. Works on any device with a camera.

Bulk Import

Upload projects and judges via CSV. Map columns to fields and import hundreds of entries in seconds. Templates provided for easy formatting.

Multifair Management

Run multiple fairs from one account. Perfect for districts, universities, and organizations managing events across locations or semesters.

Real-Time Dashboard

Watch scores come in live. See completion rates, identify stragglers, and monitor progress from a single dashboard.

Export Results

Download final rankings as CSV or generate formatted PDF reports. Perfect for awards ceremonies and record keeping.

Categories & Divisions

Organize projects into categories and divisions. Each gets its own ranking while still benefiting from normalized scoring.

Mobile-First Design

The judging interface is optimized for phones and tablets. Judges can score comfortably while walking between projects.

Secure & Private

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Judge scores are private until you release results. FERPA-friendly for educational institutions.

How Z-Score Normalization Works

The science behind fair scoring, explained simply.

The Problem

Judge A gives scores from 1-10. Judge B only gives 6-8. A project scored 7 by Judge A is "good," but a 7 from Judge B is "average." Raw scores aren't comparable.

The Solution

Z-scores measure how far each score is from that judge's average. A score 1 standard deviation above Judge A's mean equals a score 1 standard deviation above Judge B's mean.

The Result

Projects are ranked by their normalized scores, not raw numbers. The best projects rise to the top regardless of which judges evaluated them.

The Formula

z = (x - μ) / σ

Where x is the raw score, μ is the judge's mean, and σ is their standard deviation.
