The Story
FairScore started with a frustrating experience at a science fair. After weeks of preparation, a talented student's project was scored by a notoriously tough judge while less impressive projects got lenient evaluators. The results didn't reflect reality.
We knew there had to be a better way. Statisticians have used z-score normalization for decades to compare data across different scales. Why not apply the same principle to judging?
We built FairScore to solve this problem once and for all. Our platform handles the math automatically, turning inconsistent raw scores into fair, comparable rankings. Now organizers can focus on running great events instead of wrestling with spreadsheets.
